Many of us have spent our time at home cleaning and reorganizing. As a result, you may have a collection of documents with sensitive information that need to be shredded to protect yourself from identity theft. To provide you with this service in a convenient and safe manner, State Senator Pam Iovino is pleased to host a free shredding event on Saturday, October 17 from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the Pittsburgh Technical College parking lot – 1111 McKee Rd, Oakdale, PA 15071. Shredding sensitive documents is all the more important with the increased number of reports of identity theft due to COVID-19. Masks are required to be worn while we maintain social distancing; residents will remain in their cars and we will take your items and put them in the shredding truck. Please remove all binder clips from the papers prior to shredding. This event is for residents, not businesses.
