Ava Friday
Ava Friday, a third-grade student at Washington Elementary School in the Bethel Park School District, was selected as one of 10 runners-up in the Art and Writing Invention Contest, sponsored by Scholastic Books. Ava’s invention was the “Get Ready Dresser.” Handyman Matters has been named “Americas Best for Customer Service” by Newsweek magazine in the Nov. 30 issue, earning the #1 ranking in the Handyman Referral Services and Home Repairs category.
