At Church of the Atonement, Carnegie, healing services with a celebration of the Holy Eucharist are conducted at 6:30 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month. Those in need of healing will receive intentional prayers for their healing in body, mind and spirit. All denominations are welcome.

At In His Presence Church, 251 Brookwood Road, Venetia, a new second service and time schedule has been announced. Services are as follows: 9 to 10 a.m. Sunday – worship, message and Q&A with Pastor Dave Lacek; 10:30 a.m. to noon – extended worship, message and fellowship following the service. At Ruthfred Lutheran Church, Bethel Park, weekly worship services continue at 8:30 and 11 a.m. The adult Sunday school classroom hosts “O Come, O Come Emmanuel.” Learn from Habakkuk’s short book how to faithfully wait for the second coming of the Lord.

• The Upper Room Adult Class continues the Max Lucado study series, “Because of Bethlehem — Love is Born Hope is Here.”

New Year’s Eve Family Night, 7 p.m. Dec. 31, featuring a brief devotion and time of singing followed by food, games and a movie. Bring a favorite game and snack to share. Come and go as you please. Ring in 2019 with prayer at midnight.

At South Hills Assembly of God, Bethel Park, a trip is planned May 15-17 to Lancaster, the “Jesus” show at Sight & Sound Theater, “Ovation” show at the American Music Theater, “The Amish Experience” and “Jacob’s Choice” at the F/X Theater, and Kitchen Kettle Village. The cost, which includes motor coach transportation, tickets to the performances, two-nights lodging and four meals is $325 per person, double occupancy or $400 per person, single occupancy.
