Upper St. Clair High School’s homecoming weekend is set for Oct. 12 and 13. The weekend kicks off at 7:45 p.m. with Friday night football as the Panthers take on the Moon Area High School Tigers. The 2018 homecoming court will be introduced and the king and queen will be crowned at halftime. Candidates for queen include seniors: Allison DelliCarri, Julia Geisler, Stephanie Grunwald, Sarah Slagle and Rachel Tudi. Senior boys vying for king include Jack Fitzpatrick, Luke Geisler, Sean Martin, Matt McCormick and Chris Pantelis. There are two Upper St. Clair alumni events scheduled for Friday – the 2018 Halls of Fame Induction at 3:30 p.m. in the high school, and the inaugural Homecoming 5th Quarter event following the football game at Gilfillan Farm. The Homecoming 5th Quarter event is an opportunity for alumni from all classes to come together, catch up and begin a new Upper St. Clair tradition. Tickets to the event are $10, which includes parking before the game at Gilfillan Farm, a ticket to the football game and refreshments. Alumni can register and pay online. The cost is $10 per person pre-sale or $20 online after Friday’s lunch mod or at the door.
