Bethel Woman's Club donates $10,000

Bill Haberthur, on behalf of the Bethel Park Historical Society, attended the Nov. 20 meeting of the Bethel Woman’s Club to accept a $10,000 check from President Pat Griffith. This money will be used to renovate a second floor classroom which will be named in honor of this 78-year-old organization. In the collection of BPHS memorabilia is the actual plaque which hung above the door of the club’s former building on the corner of Brightwood and Lytle Roads. It will be re-hung in the classroom providing a legacy of service to the community. Bill is shown here with Pat Griffith and Lois Quallich.
