The Mt. Lebanon Junior Women’s Club has announced its 23rd annual benefit event, “Viva el Bingo!,” for March 28.

The event will benefit the club’s major grant beneficiary, the Young Women’s Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation.

The benefit is scheduled for 5 to 10 p.m. at the Bethel Park Community Center, 5151 Park Ave. Featured are bingo games, a nacho and taco bar, raffle prizes and auction items.

“The Mt. Lebanon Junior Women’s Club is honored to raise money for the Young Women’s Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation this year,” Amy Taylor, club president, said. “We want to give back to these young women in our community who courageously fight this disease and to increase awareness that women in our age group can and do have breast cancer.”

Co-chairing Viva el Bingo! are Becky Dearing and Jill Loughridge. Tickets can be purchased at

Jennifer Kehm of Peters Township, co-founder of the Young Women’s Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation, expressed gratitude for the support.

“The members are a powerful positive force in the South Hills,” she said. “We are looking forward to working together to help women right here in our neighborhoods.”
