Youngsters, adults and the occasional pet enjoyed a picture-perfect day of dressing up in costumes last weekend.

Peters Township Parks and Recreation’s annual Trick-or-Treat Trail drew at least a couple of hundred guests on a sunny Oct. 19 afternoon, marking at least the third year in a row that the weather has cooperated fully for the event.

The trail leading uphill from the community recreation center at Peterswood Park was lined with folks from community organizations, businesses and township public safety handing out goodies to trail walkers.

Regular trick-or-treat in Peters is from 6 to 8 on the usual night. Knock on wood that the forecast improves just a bit before then.
