Since the turn of the millennium, citizens have celebrated Bethel’s Bounty while the Bethel Park Community Foundation has raised money to supply grants and scholarships. This year’s event at the Crown Plaza Pittsburgh South was no exception. While the organization netted more than $13,500, hundreds of supporters enjoyed edible treats from nearly 20 food vendors, including Mad Mex, Spoonwood Brewing, Pasta Too, Olive Oil’s Pizzeria, Ches Anthony’s Catering and Give Mia Cookie. Attendees also had opportunities to win auction and raffle prizes.

Since the group’s inception in 1999, the Foundation, which is headed by president Daniel Duff, has awarded over $775,000 back into the community. The Almanac served as one of five corporate sponsors, as did Brentwood Bank, Bethel Bakery, Evey True Value Hardware and Tucker/Arensbert Attorneys.
